Metal Chicken Nesting Box with Roll Away Feature

Give your laying hens the privacy they need to lay eggs with the Rural365 Curtained Roll Out Chicken Nest Box. This nesting box provides a dark and sheltered area for poultry, preventing egg eating and promoting happy and healthy laying. The nest pad can be adjusted to three different angles, sloping downward towards the egg drop collecting tray on the front side of the box. This design allows eggs to roll into the tray, preventing hens from destroying or dirtying them and allowing for automatic egg collection of up to 15 large eggs.

To access the eggs, simply apply pressure on the green plastic piece under the center edge of the hinged collecting tray lid and lift it up. This feature prevents predators like raccoons from easily accessing the eggs. The nest box measures 19 x 12 x 17 inches (48.3 x 30.5 x 43.2 cm) and is suitable for up to 5 hens to use one at a time.

Constructed from zinc-plated galvanized metal for maximum strength and longevity, the nesting box also includes UV-resistant ABS plastic parts. The polyethylene plastic nest pad features vertical fingers to guide the eggs to the tray, ensuring minimal contact with manure and debris. The removable nesting pad is easy to clean, making maintenance a breeze.

Assembly of the nesting box is required, but instructions and hardware are included for easy setup. The backside of the chicken coop nesting box has two slotted screw holes for optional mounting 1.5 to 3 feet (0.5-1 m) above the ground inside the chicken coop near the waterer and feeder. Multiple nesting boxes with lids can be attached to each other using the supplied spacers (package includes one hen laying box).
